The mission of Maravilha Pousada is to provide a peaceful haven where guests experience genuine care and hospitality from the moment they book their stay to long after their departure.
Mara’s life is a testament to resilience, purpose, and the transformative power of love. After overcoming a childhood marked by hardship, she built a life defined not by circumstances but by intention. Her journey took her from humble beginnings in Brazil to a successful international career as a four-time IFBB fitness champion and personal trainer in California.
Despite her accomplishments, Mara felt called to return to Búzios—the place where her earliest insights about happiness and human connection were born. Inspired by a retreat experience in Peru, she envisioned creating a place where others could find rest, authenticity, and renewal.
This vision is now Maravilha Pousada:
